e mi domando:
"Perché da sette secoli
intere fiumane di gente
che sogna o gode le ricchezze
vanno a cercare un rimprovero
in un poverissimo convento?
Vanno a curiosare
nella casa di gente impazzita
o vanno per curare
la propria pazzia?"
Francesco e Chiara
continuano a dire
che se la vita e’ un viaggio
e’ piu’ pazzo chi si carica
di un fardello piu’ pesante.
I descend slowly
toward St. Damiano, in Assisi,
and ask myself:
"Why for seven centuries
whole stream of people
that dreams or enjoys wealths
they go to look for a rebuke
in a very poor convent?
They go to snoop
in the house of mad people
or they go to take care of
their own madness?"

that if the life is a journey
the craziest one is
who burdens himself
